StepStone’s recruitment process used to involve a technical screening consisting of a practical task sent by email, which would then require manual assessment. This was followed by technical interviews which included pen and paper tasks, which then also had to be assessed manually. Not to mention the time taken up with interviews. They decided to implement DevSkiller to help.
Immediately, DevSkiller introduced a phone interview stage to typically eliminate around 10-20% of the initial candidates and then a technical screening test then eliminated a further 10-20%. Already the number of interviews having to be arranged, was reduced dramatically. Devskiller is designed to be simple and as automated as possible. Our tests are ready-made by our IT experts allowing non-technical users to verify the technical skills of their candidates. If you have someone technical available you can prepare your own Ember 2x online tests.
